Kids Plus Foundation will host a new conference, Changemakers 2020: Community Implementation of Developmental Disability Practices, on 3-4 September 2020 at the RACV Torquay Resort, Victoria.

Changemakers 2020 will explore current research, clinical reasoning and provide an opportunity to share successful models of practice.

With a focus on young people with neuro-developmental conditions such as cerebral palsy, the two-day Conference will feature keynote presentations from international and national experts, along with a series of workshops from leading therapists, clinicians, researchers and those with lived experience of disability.

“The exchange of ideas and information is a really important aspect of our work at Kids Plus. Changemakers 2020 will provide a platform for sector leaders to set the agenda about community implementation of developmental disability practices,” Kids Plus Foundation CEO, Shaun Cannon says.

“2020 is an exciting year for Kids Plus, with our new Centre opening in January and with the Conference to be held in September. These other developments continue to reinforce Kids Plus’ expertise and leadership across therapy, research and teaching,” Shaun adds.
