Thanks to the Geelong Community Foundation who have granted $20,000 to Kids Plus Foundation in support of our ‘Baby Program’.

Unique to Kids Plus Foundation, the program is an early intervention initiative aimed at supporting babies (and their families) at high risk of having a significant neuro-developmental disability.

The program targets babies that are extremely premature (<29 weeks), have low birth weight (<1500 grams) or who have been diagnosed with a brain injury. The majority of babies in the program will display characteristics associated with Cerebral Palsy. The grant will support Kids Plus Foundation to provide crucial early intervention and support to 15 Geelong families via fortnightly or monthly visitations during the critical first 12 months of life.

It’s through grants like this we are able to continue and build on the work we offer families in the community with neuro-developmental disabilities. We thank the Geelong Community Foundation for its support.
