There are many ways you can help us to help these babies and children at Kids Plus.
Your donation will assist babies and children to improve
coordination and mobility, eating and drinking, communication, and self
care, in order to support child development, independence, education
and family & social interaction; and give them the opportunity to
reach their full potential.
Donations
Every cent
helps us to continue our challenging and rewarding work. You may like to make a
one donation or a regular monthly donation to us.
How to
donate
Kids Plus Foundation has Deductible Gift
Recipient Status from the Australian Tax Office and donations over $2
are tax deductible.
Bequests - Remembering Kids Plus Foundation in your Will
Most of
us make provisions in our Will for family and loved ones. A Will can
also include a gift that can really change people’s lives.
A bequest does not always need to be in cash. It can include securities, real estate or even personal property.
Including a
gift to an your charity or cause is one way to provide your support and legacy through your
estate.
If you want to add a bequest to your Will, you can simply add a supplement which sets out your instructions. We recommend talking with your legal advisor before you do so. Please tell us when you make a choice to leave Kids Plus a bequest.
Corporate Partnerships
We are looking to develop a small number of multi-faceted corporate
partnerships whereby we share resources, expertise and networks to
further both partners’ business strategies. This could involve
volunteering, professional expertise, events, marketing activities,
fundraising, and professional development.
Sponsorship
There are a number of opportunities at Kids Plus for direct
sponsorships that return a marketing or reputational benefit. E.g.
naming rights on our newsletter, sponsor a therapy room or equipment
for the kids outside therapy play space. Or talk to us about other
ideas you may have.
Workplace giving
Some employers provide an opportunity for employees to contribute a tax
deductible donation on a weekly or monthly basis directly from your pay
packet. There are tax advantages in this.
They usually have a small list of charities that you can choose from.
Ask your employer how you can include Kids Plus Foundation on your
workplace giving program or talk to us and we’ll show
you how.
Goods & services in-kind
Every cent we don’t have to spend on equipment, administration,
catering, printing, paper, design, furniture, garden, postage etc.,
means more babies and children receive direct help. We have a big
wish list so please talk to us about ways you can assist.
Professional expertise
Running any organisation whether commercial or not for profit requires
professional assistance. If you are a• Evaluation Projects & Reports designer, lawyer, accountant,
cleaner, gardener, handy man, caterer, web site
master, writer, event coordinator, public relations expert, or
administration whiz and can spare us some of your time as a volunteer,
we’d love to get to know you.
Host an event and raise funds
Next time you host an event think of us. By helping us to continue our
work you are helping children in need to reach their full potential.
Talk to us about how we can help. We could provide a guest speaker, our materials, logo and staff support.
Cause related marketing
Your business may produce a product or conduct a service whereby you could
donate a percentage of sales to Kids Plus for a fixed term. We will
work with you to ensure you gain the maximum business benefit from this
approach e.g. provision of our logo, endorsement and communication
materials.
