If your business and employees are passionate about children and helping families and building a strong community, then look no further. Our partnerships include volunteering, professional expertise, events, marketing activities, fundraising, work place giving and professional development. We also offer opportunities for direct sponsorships that return a marketing or reputational benefit. E.g. naming rights on our newsletter, sponsor a therapy room or equipment for the kids outside therapy play space. Or talk to us about other ideas you may have.
Our special Corporate Partners
Routley's
When Kids Plus formed a partnership with Routley's in 2010, we had no idea what a big impact it would have. Together we developed Geelong's first Hot Cross Bun week which takes place every year in the week leading to Easter. Workplaces host a Hot Cross Bun morning or afternoon tea with $1 from every bun sale going to Kids Plus. The buns are delivered to schools, businesses and service clubs fresh in the morning. In addition, Routley's engages it's own bakeries across Victoria and over 300 wholesale customers in the event, with 10cents from every HCB coming to Kids Plus. Our first Hot Cross Bun Week raised over $5000 and it just keeps getting bigger each year. Kids Plus hosts a number of other events each year e.g Thomas Fun Run, Golf Classic, Bunning BBQ's and Routley does not hesitate to donate all the bread we need, saving Kids Plus literally hundreds of dollars which means more therapy places for our children.
Lake Imaging
Lake Imaging has been a Kids Plus partner for over three year is a very special business with some extraordinary people on staff like Emma Forssman and Stuart Monger who work tirelessly for Kids Plus throughout the year by volunteering time, hosting fundraising events, promoting our events through external signage at their outlets and placing collection tins on their service counters. Lake Imaging has donated over $10,000 to Kids Plus through internal fundraising, and donation of prizes e.g. Cats vs Gold Coast corporate package to QLD.
Rotary Highton Kardinia
Our partnership with Rotary Club Highton Kardinia and its amazing members, centers on the annual Fun Run with Thomas at Drysdale Railway each year in March. Hundreds of families spend a day enjoying healthy, fun activities including fun runs against Thomas the Tank Engine, rides, community displays, entertainment and delicious food. The members of the Fun Run committee give thousands of volunteer hours each year to make the event happen and in 2010 over $16,000 was raised for Kids Plus. The awareness this event has raised about Kids Plus is the stuff money can't buy. The event is supported by a number of very generous local businesses including GJ Gardner Homes, CJ Keane, Yellow Pages, Hocking Stuart and ArtCo.
